Entry Fee
£27 per day, or £20 per day if you purchase a Diverlog Registration Card (£40 for 2 years for £30 for 1 year). Apply in advance of your visit.
Getting there and parking
It’s about a 3 hour drive from Lancaster. Easy to find by sat nav with the post code. Large sign at the entrance.
The centre has two large car parks, but the back car park is a long walk from the water. You really need to be in the front car park!
Facilities
Toilets, changing rooms, kiosk selling food and hot drinks, well stocked diving shop, air/nitrox fills, testing, servicing. There is also a pub that does food on-site, but you are not allowed in wearing a wetsuit or drysuit.
Diver proficiency
Suitable for all qualification levels, however BSAC Ocean Divers and their buddies much adhere to their 20m depth limit.
In the water
The site has a 6m area, the main area is 22m, and there is also a 35m area. There are numerous underwater attractions: The largest is The Staingarth – A tug boat that allows a wreck penetration dive. There are several other boats, a bus, helicopter, plane, various vehicles etc.
