An opportunity to dive a different site, joining Solway SAC on a Seasearch dive, though it is open to all divers.
Parton, general info: a rocky shore with shingle beach making entry and exit tricky if wind is onshore over 13mph, but well worth it for a seaweed and kelp dive with plenty of life to see and a wreck if you swim a little further out.
Site is dived at the midway point between tides, meet at 10am to be in the water at 11am.
Just north of Whitehaven, turn off the A595 towards Lowca, then left down Foundry Road and off down to beach under a low railway bridge, parking at back of beach.
