DESCRIPTION:Lancaster Music Festival is one of the UK’s largest urban mus
 ic festivals\, where excited festival-goers will descend on the historic c
 ity of Lancaster for a long weekend of music and merriment. There will be 
 music throughout the city in over 50 venues\, all easily walkable within t
 he city centre\, from the courtyard inside Lancaster Castle to cafés and 
 coffee shops\; through the city’s squares and outdoor spaces\; and in th
 e majority of the city's 30-odd wonderful pubs and bars.\n\nThis grassroot
 s festival celebrates the wonderful diversity and quality of musicians and
  performers in the local area whilst also inviting acts from all over the 
 globe. With over 400 performances from more than 300 artists - almost all 
 of them free - plus street theatre and workshops\, we can promise there wi
 ll be something for everyone to enjoy\, no matter what age or musical tast
 e. Let the music play.\n\nFor our club social event\, we'll meet at Dalton
  Square\, Lancaster at 6pm\, and go from there.\n\nFriends and family memb
 ers welcome (sorry\, no young children)\n\nPlease book via the website bel
